Step-by-Step Guide - How To Create A KBZoneby Jennifer RomeroIs your website cluttered with a magnitude of merchant affiliate banners? Why not make a KBZone? Clear away the clutter and make room for more content. A KBZone allows you to have a variety of banners in one location. Each banner will rotate based on its performance and also track keywords the visitor used to find your site. Once you have built your KB Zone you can add or delete banners without replacing the code on your website. This is a simple way to display many merchant banners in one location without making your website cluttered with banners. Make your own KBZone just follow these easy steps: Step 1. Log into Kolimbo on the top right side of your screen by entering your id and password (Click here if you have forgotten your password), then click submit. You will be directed to a new screen the Kolimbo Welcome page. On the Kolimbo welcome page there will be a menu on the top left side listing the different areas of Kolimbo. Step 2. First choose the size you want the banner to be from the drop down menu. Step 3. A new page will show all the banner choices that meet your request. Step 4. When you click 'ADD KBZONE' a smaller window will pop-up, this is where you will name your KBZone (or add the banner to an existing KBZone). You can also determine the weight of each banner to be displayed on your site. After you have chosen the weight of the banners and named your KBZone click on 'ADD THESE BANNERS'. Step 5. A new page will pop up with a line of HTML code. Highlight the code and copy it to your web design program. You never have to change this piece of code, even if you add or remove banners from your zone. Once it is in place it will update automatically.
You can place as many KBZones on your webpages as you need. Each one will need a different name. The weighting lets certain banners get shown more often than others. Regularly check the stats for your KBZones to see which banners are the best perfomring. KBZones can automatically show the best banners more often, but you should check your stats so you can remove poor performing banners and replace them with new ones to test.
