Step-by-Step Guide - How To Create A KBStoreby Jennifer RomeroA KBStore is a fast and convenient way for you to create a store front using your Kolimbo merchants. Many merchants in the Kolimbo network offer a data feed. A data feed allows you to keep your store up to date with current products and pricing. All you need to do is insert a short piece of code into your web page once; no need to reinsert a new piece of code every time you update your site the data feed does this for you. How much easier can it get! Here's how to build you store in less than 10 minutes! Log into Kolimbo.com - Click here if you have forgotten your password.
On the welcome screen, once you've logged in, is the menu on the left. Hover over 'My Link Builder' and then slide over on the smaller menu and click on 'KBStore'.
On the next screen click on 'Create a New KB Store'.
There are 3 steps you will need to take in order to create your KBStore. Step 1. You will see a list of all the merchants you belong to that offer a data feed. Check all of the merchants that you would like to include in your KBStore. If there are no merchants listed you can see all of the merchants that offer a data feed by clicking on the words click here. Step 2. Choose a name for your store, it can be anything you would like. This is important since you can have more than one store at a time. So choose a name that easily tells you where you have placed this KBStore on your website. Step 3. How would you like your store to look? Would you like to use the default store and make no changes or customize your store to your liking?
Now all you need to do is highlight the code and then copy & paste it onto your webpage.
Once your KBStore has been created you can view and edit it. Also, when you go to 'My Link Builder' - 'KBStore' now, you'll see a new link in red that says 'View Existing KBStores'.
Click here to see reports on clicks, page loads, searches and which search engine keywords are being used. You can also delete KBStores from this area too.
So if it doesn't look exactly how you expected it or you just want to change things, its very simple just click edit make your changes and click update then you're done. There is no need to change the code on your page by clicking update, it changes the KBStore on your page as well.
